Given the fact that there's no official support whatsoever with Apple machines for Windows 11,

Do you think that it can be installed and "usable" on a Late 2015 5K 27" iMac with a 3.3 Ghz i5 and a Radeon R9 M395 ? Has anybody tried ?

Appreciate!

I followed the instructions to create a special version of installable Windows 11 on my late 2015 27" iMac. It worked. However... Because I have a Fusion Drive, the Bootcamp Assistant partitions only the HDD part of the Fusion drive. The result is you install Windows on a very slow (5200 RPM) HDD. It wasn't worth the pain for me.

From that install, I used Hasleo WinToUSB to set up Win 11 on an external USB 3 SSD. That gets around the installer problem, and performs reasonably quickly.

It is fully possible on an Intel Mac. However, you need to modify the registry during installation to bypass hardware check.
