Not sure if it's a hardware issue or driver issue (hope it's the latter), but whenever I play a less demanding game such as World of Warcraft on either Boot Camp or Mac OS 10.15.6, the GPU usage easily gets up to 90+% and Mac Pro fans ramp up really hard for a quick 10-15 seconds or so). But it is frequent enough to be noticeable (say about twice every minute or so). I have the latest as of today driver from AMD on W5700X.

I also used it for Davinci resolve but never had that happen yet. I was also told by another guy who uses Vega II that he never had its fans ramp up like W5700X did. But my setup is using triple 4k monitors and occasionally additional 1080p screen (I usually unplug that unless necessary because it does hurt fps even in normal usage), and fans still ramped up even when I was just using dual 4k monitors.

Any other experience with W5700X users would be greatly appreciated here.

I'm curious to see if you've found a solution. I too dabble with WoW when I have some free time, and have noticed that I get a warning from TG Pro stating that GPU core 1 has reached temperatures of over 100degrees. Contrary to your experience, my fan's don't spin up so I don't know if its something that iStat menus or TG Pro has disabled. Maybe it's just a WoW thing?
