so i have a copy of w7 ultimate to run for a few bits and pieces. But all i would like to know is that i believe w7 via bootcamp is only as secure as your average PC. I was curious to know if i run the same risks of exposing my mac to trojans and what not if i use parallels instead?

it doesn't really bother me what i have to use this is aimed at security :)

thanks

Windows is no more secure in parallels as it is in bootcamp. The only difference is that windows does not have direct access to the hardware, so a virus cannot write directly to the hard drive.

You will need an antivirus software regardless which way you go.
