The 32-bit version has no problems. Any ideas?

W weckart macrumors 603 Nov 7, 2004 6,169 4,081 Nov 2, 2009 #2 Yes. It is a known issue if you are not using Boot Camp. Follow this guide. I got Win 7 x86_64 to install on my Macbook Pro by following it. Newer Macs do not have the same problems, apparently.
