It seems like the CSS for the main page is acting a little wacky right now, with a few things not quite lining up, and the right hand navigation overlapping the main body text a little bit.

I'm at work right now, using IE6 (I know, I know, but they've set it up so we can't use anything else) - I'll check on safari when I get home...

Well, the right navigation bar is back to where it should be, but one of the news stories looks like someone turned off the visibility (the name of the actual tag escapes my memory right now), and some of the borders don't quite match up.

But it is nice to see CSS at work at MR :)

Please post screenshots. Perhaps something can be done about it.

I'll give it a shot tomorrow at work and see if it's still acting the same way. Always looks fine in standards compliant browsers (go figure)...

It's much more behaved today... Friday the entire right hand navigation bar was overlaying the content portion by a good 20px or so, but this is the worst of it that I've seen today (that is to say, it's been pretty normal today). Not sure why it was so out of wack on Friday...

Do the problems get worse if you make the window very narrow and better if you make the window very wide?

That's what I'm seeing with MSIE 6. The box shown above is a little bloated with the browser window maximized at 800x600, but the border is flush at 1024x768.

I'm seeing that, too. I'll investigate and see what I can come up with.

They get worse with a smaller window, but the above screenshot was taken with a maximized window on a 1280x960 display.

Of course, that's not much to nitpick about. The only reason I mentioned it was because of the problems that were only showing up on Friday :)

IE is the KILLER for CSS. That's why I haven't migrated to table-less layout yet because IE F**** everything up so much. Especially setting padding in CSS.

Well, I ended up tracking it down to the pullquote text but it seems like somebody went in and fixed the CSS because it's not pushing the box out anymore.
