Just got a Wacom Bamboo pen tablet; installed the latest drivers from the Wacom site.

But the tutorial that is supplied on the CD starts up, displays a screen for a few moments and then crashes:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000000
Crashed Thread: 0

The tablet itself seems to work, but I'd like to try the tutorial.

Using an IMac 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with OS X 10.5.8 and 4Gb RAM.

I've searched Google and the forums but to no avail...

Any clues?

Thanks

Wacom Bamboo tutorial on Mac OS X

Hi Gordon, same problem here. The tutorial crashes when started from the Applications folder.
To use it anyway, insert the CD with the drivers. You will find a folder called Tutorial and inside it a program also called Tutorial. Click on it and the tutorial will start. Hope it works for you.
