No iPad Pro 12.9 (2020) in stock anywhere near me (Toronto)....probably Canada-wide from as far as I can tell. What are your opinions - order for delivery which will be a one month wait minimum, or have the fingers crossed that the item will be in stock in that timeframe?

You can order it to be shipped and then cancel it if you find it in stock in the Toronto area. At least all of Canada's Apple Stores are open. It's worth checking Best Buy regularly too, although I imagine you've got every possible local vendor covered.

I qualify for the student discount (discount and airpods) so I'm quite stuck to the Apple Store. Really wish places would honour the status everywhere but regardless, it's out of stock everywhere. COVID sucks!

It’s a shame third party retailers are better at restocking Apple products that Apple themselves. Best Buy Canada seems to have the 12.9“ Wi-Fi models in stock online regularly, as well as a 12.9” 256 GB Cellular model currently which might be what you want based on one of your previous posts, but can’t get at a discount.

Hey you are right! They have stock online but unfortunately my money doesn't grow on a tree like some other folks. $130 price difference and airpods are a big difference. Sucks.
