Last month I accidentally upgraded my unlocked & jailbroken 3GS from 4.2.1 to 4.3.5 (thus changing my BB to 5.16.02). :(

I don't want to risk losing my GPS (and other potential problems) by switching to the iPad BB. Should I just wait for iOS 5 to introduce a new BB (and wait for the Dev-Team to work its magic) in order to unlock/jailbreak again?

Other details: I have all of the SHSH blobs for the past half-dozen software versions including my long-lost 4.2.1. I am on T-Mobile. And while I wait for a solution, I'm using my broken-screened 1G, which ain't much fun!

Thanks!

You can try waiting, but based on the lack of unlocks for more recent basebands and the availability of factory unlocked iPhones in most countries I don't think we will see a software unlock for iOS 5.

lol... yes, try not to 'accidentally' update your iPhone cause no one can help if you there are so many accidents.
