hey guys,

all of this is getting me so damn excited! I just want to be the first one at the apple store tomorrow to buy my first mac! But my dad says that we should wait because its a new version. I say no bc its not new software, just new hardware. Please, shed some light on the situation! I have the money, now i just need the laptop! I cant wait!

Of you wait, and it comes out, then I don't think that you will be any worse than waiting for a few more days, or if it is not a very big update you could get a very good deal on the current model.
 
This is the next rev, isn't it?
Tell Dad that you get a 1 year warranty, so go for it!
 
Wait until Tuesday.

If something new is released, you'll be better off waiting.

It's really not that bad to wait a week.
 
I think you'd be pretty safe. Any issue with it, you tell Apple, they fix it, jobs a goodun.

You might want to read back to the Core Duo heat issues
 
Buy when you NEED. It's pretty simple. If you're fine with dealing with some issues that might come with the new mbp, then by all means get it. However, if you want to wait around and play it safe, then get it later. I suggest getting one of the older MBP when the new ones come out tomorrow. (supposedly) You'll probably find a great deal, and you won't have to deal with the problems that might come with the new revision.
 
this is the ****ing trillion dollar question

wait and be pissed that nothing you wanted came at wwdc and be last on the list to get your new MBP

or

wait and get the new ultraportable or possible software that may come one week later
 
this is dumb, i waited too long and if new systems are released tommorow, i'll be the first in line to buy them!:p

so what is it that you want to badly that you feel it is unlikely to even be released at this WWDC? Apple is updating things very nicely and at a quick clip.
 
I am pretty confident there wont be any new notebooks at wwdc 07
my concern was the rumored ultra portable
 
No hope of a 13" MBP? That's what I'm kind of expecting at WWDC. It seems like the logical gap to fill.

:D Well I couldn't afford it either way, I just thought it'd be a cool thing to see. I still feel like there had to of been some "other" reason for the last macbook update to be so dull.

people wake up, nothing, nada, no, just buy yourself your brand new MBP. you deserve it.
