"Waiting..." - are app updates slower?

Not sure if this is a 'just my device' thing, but since iOS 14 I've noticed that when I initiate app updates, I'll see "Waiting" far more often and far longer than I did with iOS 13. Anyone else seeing this?

Absolutely, for as long as I can remember with iOS 14.
