Waiting for MBP Update

Does anybody know for sure when the MBP line will be silently updated and also when there will be an external update(case etc).

The reason i ask is because i want to buy a current model as soon as the NEW one comes out because they are usually cheaper on Amazon.

Anybody know for sure?

This is a question that is very popular on this website. Truth is, noone knows. Good chance for a silent update in Feb at the latest. Later on in this year beginning of Q3 maybe a case redesign?

It is all speculation, but I am in the same boat as you. As soon as something big happens with the Macbook pro, assuming something will happen in the next eight months, I am buying it.

Yup!!
My friend bought a late 2006 model from Amazon for $1549($150 mail in rebate), as soon as the 2007 model came out.

I am just waiting for the silent update so i can get the 2007 model. As long as the MBP doesnt get a Exterior upgrade i dont care.

Please iLord update the MBP
