upgraded to iPhone 8 plus 64gb from iPhone 7 plus 128gb

Not happy about having to downgrade storage. I thought this issue was resolved last year and now here we are again?!?!? Really losing my patience with Apple at this point.

Hopefully next years version will have TouchID integrated because I don't have time for FaceID and apps probably aren't going to support it anyway.

I agree...my iPhone 7+ has a small crack on the bottom corner and it bothers the heck out of me, so I "upgraded" to the 8+. I am excited about a few small improvements to the device, but the fact that my storage is getting cut in half really bothers me. So much so, I was (and am still) tempted to cancel the order for the 8+ and just grab another 7+

I agree with the rest of your post, but apps that support Touch ID will automatically support Face ID, with nothing more to do from the developer
