I have an iPhone 12 mini that was bought in the US and brought back to the UK. The side button and volume buttons do not function properly. Its been identified as a hardware issue by Apple Support and I have been promised a replacement in store. However, they are unable to tell me when they expect to be available to order apart from telling me it could be anything between 2-4 weeks. Has anyone else had the same issue? Based on previous experience or other information does anyone know when can I expect to get my replacement iPhone?

No one here is gong to be able to tell you anything more definitive and accurate about your local in store availability and pick up of the replacement. You will need to be patient. The best you can do is check local stock each day with the store of your choice.
