Im off on the 16th thinking of waiting line to get my hands on a 7 Plus jet black since my delivery date is in November. What are the chances of getting it im one of the first few people in line? Any info on how its will be handled at your apple store for the iphone 7 for people lining up?

Each store is different. My store in Albany, NY is opening at 8AM instead of 10AM. The chances are VERY low. That said, I'm trying as well.
If the store opens at 8AM in your area, you better be there at least 2 hours or more early or you'll be wasting your time.

I think that depends on the location of the Apple Store. A coworker of mine been going to every Apple Store iPhone Launch In Nevada he saying no one camps there people start lining up at 12AM the earliest.
Okay, I'll bring the beer. Someone bring food, a tent, and a solar powered outlet.
I don't think indoor mall locations will let you camp out overnight in the hallways. I remember reading about some malls setting up a mad race through the parking lot the AM of launch day; the fittest get to get to the store first.
Yes they will our mall lets us. I did it for the iPhone 6/6+ they let us stay inside till 10:00 then took us outside of the mall from back of the like to the front and has wait outside of the mall entrance until 5:30AM when they let us in and apple store employees were there too at that time. In fact I am going to check out see how many people are lining up at our apple store this Thursday at 10AM and see if the line it not too long come back at 2 or 3 and get in line.
I find it very funny how the Jet Black is very limited quanitity. This is all BS that apple does for everyone to think that the phone is sold out. All the iPhone 7 plus models are the same just different color so why is it that they can manufacture more silver,gold,rose gold but jet black they cant. In reality they can and they do. They just want everyone to know the are the BEST.

To be fair, according to Apple the process in which the jet black finish is achieved is a lot more involved and intensive which could in theory mean shorter supply. Whether it's all smoke and mirrors, who knows.
I vaguely remember for the 4 or 5 at Apple in Aventura, FL or maybe the ATT Store, employees walking down the line of people outside the mall entrance and asking each person what carrier, color, and capacity they wanted. Then with the iPad they were using they checked stock and gave you a certificate of some sort that you gave to your shopping specialist for the phone you asked.
See if Apple may be doing this in your area.
edit: And yes. I remember ATT doing this for the 3g. The manager actually had a Palm Treo and looked up your account, and then you told them what you wanted. Lot of upset people late in the line but UPS ended up delivering more phones to the store around noon.
Technically JB is not the same as others. As the rest are all non-glossy
And Apple needs more time to improve its production on glossy finish
There is a good chance they will not even have any Jet Black units on opening day.

Since the Jet Black is so popular and there is limited inventory, I think apple is going to send zero of those color phones to any carrier stores or third party stores for launch day and just stock their own stores.
I was told by a guy at my apple store that they were informed that no store, Apple or otherwise, is getting any jet blacks in stock at all. That's Columbus Ohio so you would think a big market like that would be one of the few to get some. Looks like they are holding for pre orders.
Are the apple store employees really told how many phones they get on launch day for walk-ins ? Would it be safe to assume that No apple stores anywhere in the United States are going to get any Jet Black Phones on launch day for walk-ins.
Well, iPhone Upgrade mistake people have been able to get walk in stock for Friday, but zero 7+ Jet Blacks. 2-3 Week wait for those. I bet there will be JB, just almost zero JB 7+'s.
Do you think its going to be similar to the 6s launch & the Rose Gold color where inventory slowly trickled in day by day into the stores and on launch day there was hardly any phones.
Probably, but who knows. Seems like original gold, but maybe worse. Hard to see, they will catch up eventually I am sure.
I think it is silly to blame Apple. JB is the most requested color and production is a little more difficult.
If lines are queueing the night before for many stores, then I expect whatever qty each store has, will sell quickly.
