This is the first time I had this happen.. Is this a sign that my graphics card is going bad.. I have a MBP 2.4 with the 256mb viseo card.. This is the only time this has happen. I had to hold the power button to get it to shut off and a restart was fine..

Does adjusting the display (move it up and down via the hinge) make it better or affect it? Also does this happen when you restart the computer?

Laptop

No it doesn't happen when I restart. I've done a pram reset just in case. I restarted the computer and it was fine.. I have apple care and my laptop is just about 1 year old.. SO I'm hoping that apple covers it.. This is the first time I've seen this but if It was just a glitch I'm fine with it.. But still on a $2700 laptop this shouldn't happen after only 1 year.. I have a picture on my Iphone that I might just bring it in to the apple store to have them take a look at the picture...
