I have been having issues with my powerbook for a while now. When my computer wakes it is soooo slooow... I can hear the hard drive making noise like it is seeking but it is in very short burst. while it is doing this everything prety much locks up (for about 3 to five minutes) then it is fine. Here is what I have done thus far.
1. Verified S.M.A.R.T and that the drive is good
2. Repaired permissions (always after installing new software)
3. Run my Daily, Weekly and Monthly maint scripts
4. Reloaded the Freakin OS
5. Removed my aftermarket memory as I thought I had a memory leak
6. Removed Swap out the old RAM and test
7. Updated to 10.4.2 then 10.4.3. then to 10.4.4 then now to 10.4.5
8. Used disk Warrior to rebuild the drive.
--> Not all in that order and many on that list multiple times... exept for reloading
When I have an issue with windows I go to eventid.net to analyze my error logs... is there a MAC equivalent for that?
attached is a copy of my system logs.
Thanks in advance for your help.
