wake mac from sleep if its already online ? HELP

Hello,

i am using an app called mocha WOL which i am finding very useful to wake my microsoft pc,

but when i am trying to wake my mac, i am having difficulty.

i have entered the ip, and the mac address, i have configured it correctly as the app is reading the mac and giving the status thats its ‘online’

I am setting my mac to sleep by using the apple symbol, then sleep, and the screen goes dark, an I’m assuming into sleep mode,
but the app is stating the mac is already online,

so i have tried shutting the mac down completely, and waking, but I’m having no response,

im not able to wake it from shutdown, an I’m also not able to wake it up from sleep mode, as the app is saying the mac is already online,

i have also set the WOL setting in energy saver too
