wake mac with song playing ?

Hello,

I've been looking for an app that'll wake up my mac, to play a song -

or to startup from shutdown with a song playing ...

i dont believe its possible, but i was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this along their travels?

I wrote an Automator script for my Mac mini that plays an iTunes playlist and added it to my Login Items so it runs shortly after the computer starts up with Automatic Login enabled.

So yes, it's possible even without a third-party app.
