Wake MB with lid closed (possible w/ InsomniaX?)

Basically I want the MacBook to wake from sleep and open an application while it's closed.

Obviously, when having the lid closed completely, it will power up for a moment before it falls back to sleep again.


How to accomplish this simple task? Thanks.
