Hello, I need to be able to turn on my MBP no matter where I am without the computer being with me. I have tried a few apps including NetAwake, AWOL, and RemoteBoot but none of these seem to work. Wake on LAN is enabled and it was connected via ethernet. Does on use a wake on LAN app that actually works? Has anyone else had problems with this? How can I make it work?

Is the port forwarded properly on you router?

Do you have the right MAC address?

Do you have the right WAN IP address?

Test to make sure WOL is working within the LAN first.

I think so

Yes

Only one app asked for an IP and im pretty sure it was the right one

No idea what that means
