Hi all,
I'm trying to set up a Mac Mini as a file server, so that I can share a couple of external hard drives with the rest of the LAN. I've set up Sharepoints to allow other computers to mount these disks and it works nicely, except when the Mac Mini goes in to power save mode.
So far, I've read that Apple Remote Desktop would be enough to wake this computer remotely, but my other computers on the LAN are not Macs. Are you aware of any Win32 application that could send the "Wake on LAN magic packet" that would bring my Mac back from sleep?
thanks
Nuno
