I'm trying to get my 2011 10.7.2 iMac to wake up remotely via my iPad and I'm having a few problems and I was wondering if anyone could help?

I know Lion came with the darkwake "feature" installed and I've edited my com.apple.boot.plist file to fix it, I have tried a whole bunch of different iPad apps, set the ports to forward on my router and I'm even running with a ethernet cable to be completely sure but no matter what I do the damn thing just won't wake up!

I know that when I try the "wake" iPad app it is doing something because the lights on my Razer mouse start pulsating which they don't normally do when its sleeping.

Did anyone ever find a sure fire way to fix this?
