wake up my apple tv with airplay??

Hi guys, if I turn conference room mode off, my devices can no longer wake up my apple tv from sleep via airplay. With it on, I get the annoying conference room display on top of my screensaver. Certainly the latter is the lesser of two evils, but is there a way to allow my devices to wake up my apple tv without having conference room mode on? Home sharing is enabled.

it should work, I do it all the time.

try rebooting the aTV after turning conference mode off.
if that doesn't work, try rebooting your main router
and if that doesn't work, try resetting the aTV.

I think the ability to "wake up" an Apple TV sometimes depends on the particular the device and OS... As AFEPPL mentions, it's really hit-and-miss.

I've done TONS of Airplay testing for my app, and *still* don't understand why one ATV will remain in the picker list while another may not...

As waw74 suggested try restarting the AppleTV (hold menu + down until the LED on the ATV flashes rapidly).

I wake up my ATV with other airplay request (iOS and OS X) quite frequently.
