Wake Up Speed of MacBook

I'm off to buy a BlackBook once BestBuy opens. I am just wondering about how fast the computer wakes up from sleep? My MBP wakes up in a second or two and just as quickly, it connects to my WiFi.

I never turn off my MBP, I just close the lid and that's what I will be doing with the MacBook.

P.S. How do you like the screen quality wise on the MB?

Mine wakes in seconds also. Probably the newer ones are even faster than mine.

The screen is great but of course will be small than your MBP.
