Ah, I love automator, I wrote a script that will automatically play a wake up playlist in iTunes, after my computer has booted at a predetermined time, and the best bit? afterwards it shuts itself down again!! couldn't do any of that on my old pc.

Anyone developed any other useful automator scripts to run on startup?

that's cool but I don't trust anything to wake me up except a battery powered clock.

How did you get it to boot your computer though? That's rad.

Go to System Preferences > Energy Saver > Schedule. You can set wake, startup, and sleep, shutdown times
