I want to be able to wake my Win7 desktop from my Macbook Pro using Wake-on-LAN. I've tried the WakeOnLan software from ReadPixel, but it doesn't work.. any tips from people here? Hardware, software settings?

The desktop uses a Gigabyte P35-DS3R Mobo with the onboard LAN. I've enabled the settings in the BIOS, and in Win7 as well (Allow this device to wake the computer)

The desktop is connected to a Linksys WRT54G router, and the MBP connects wirelessly to the same router. Networking works fine.

Help much appreciated.

Edit=----------
I found that I can use WakeonLan from readpixel to wake a sleeping computer.. is it possible to start a machine that's completely powered off?
