Hi,

I there a way to force a MacBook Pro to wake up when in Clamshell. Sometimes I can by pressing keys on the bluetooth Keyboard and moving the mouse. But most often I need to raise the lid, enter password and the unplug and reply the external monitor.

Seems awkward.

Didn't seem this way on my old MacBook 12.

Is there some config change I can make to allow it to wake up easier?

Don’t let it go to sleep. Just have the monitor shut off after a period of time.

How do I do this. In System Preferences Energy Saver I have the prevent computer from sleeping option ticked. Put hard disks to sleep is not ticked and neither is allow power nap.

Is there a setting elsewhere ?

There are two sets of power settings, one for battery power and one for charger. Make sure you’re on the right one. Beyond that, I’m at a loss as it has always a worked for me.
