when i put my macpro desktop to sleep then turn it on again...it take a little while...few seconds delay....harddrive takes a while to spin up

this did not happen when i bought the computer few months ago...

anyone know why?...can i speed up the harddrive more quickly to get going? or what is the cause of the delay

Maybe because now your hard drive isn't as empty as it used to be when you bought your mac:rolleyes:

Do a disk repair or something, this can some times help, but it could be because your hdd is more full. like the previous member said
