Walk in purchase of iPhone 4s at apple store

My contract doesn't end until this coming Monday, the 17th. Because of this they wouldn't allow me to pre-order so I must walk-in and buy it. The closest Apple Store from my college is at King of Prussia in Philadelphia, PA. Does anyone think they will have the 32GB white iPhone 4s in stock to buy right there? Thanks!!! :)

Not sure, but consider this. They sold over a million iPhone 4s on the first day of buying them online, what do you think the odds of them selling out consistently?

You will have better luck finding an ATT store that may be a bit off the beaten path to buy the phone

Honestly, I think it will. Every indication has been that production of the 4S is going really fast. The fact that there were a lot more pre-orders this year means there will probably be a lot more supply in general. I think after the huge rush of the first few days, supplies will probably still be good, as Apple stores get new shipments every day.

No guarantees, and I could be wrong, but that's the feeling I'm getting.

Yeah if it's in stock.

I think so too because of your reason and also the King of Prussia mall is a huge mall with a lot of people so I think they'll have more in stock.
 
I would also recommend you spread out your search to AT&T stores, Best Buys, Radio Shacks, etc. and try a few different ones. You'll have a better chance.
 
Yeah I will. I'd rather buy it in an Apple Store for the better experience, plus I gotta get my iPhone at an Apple Store it's tradition! lol

Anyway, I'll look at local Best Buy's and Verizon stores.
 
It's not the iphone 5 so all indications point to walking right in and getting one within minutes.
