Walked into BB this morning and got one...Returning it, not impressed

I know going from a 4 to a 4s would not have been a big upgrade anyway but still people were clamoring about it.

After about 3hrs playing with it now I am pretty unimpressed. I did a bunch of side by side comparisons and most things I DO are just a fraction of a second slower on the 4.


Oh on a side note best buy had TONS of iphones at both stores i went to. The first one i went to would not sell me one outright and only if i had an upgrade available, so i went to the other BB about 10 miles away and got one there.

When they opened up there cabinets they were loaded with iphones 4s's and they said it does not matter if you had a preorder or not, they are selling them to whoever comes in :)
 
I've said since day one I thought a lot of current 4 users would be disappointed by the differences... but, to new users, it's going to be a total trip.

Sorry you weren't pleased with it.
 
Siri is amazing and way worth the upgrade from my iPhone 4!

I will never type a text message again unless I have to because I'm in a situation that speaking out-loud would be rude.

On AT&T, my 4s loads web pages way faster!

Personally, I'm very happy with the upgrade!

Before you take it back, can you take a side by side comparison with your 4s and 4, with siri open of course.
 
The updates to the 4S were too subtle for most of us i4 users. Personally I love the idea of Siri, and would love to have the improved camera, but it's not worth all the hassle. Especially if I'll just be upgrading to what is surely going to be a newly designed iPhone next year anyway.

If the upgrade was the EXACT iPhone 4 but with Siri... I'd still be upgrading.

what's that other thing people say.... oh yeah, pictures or it didn't happen.

i'm getting one, coz of siri and the ability to add stuff in the calendar / reminders with it. i really suck at adding stuff there - AND checking when stuff's going on.

Siri will help me. Even though i'm danish.
 
I had a 4. Upgraded to the 4s today because I switched my carrier to Verizon and I love the phone. Siri alone is worth the purchase. Besides that I just put my old 4 up on ebay and it's already getting bids so the new phone didn't really end up costing me anything. Sucks your disappointed but I love my new phone.

Between VZ, Siri, iOS5, and the new camera you'll probably be in heaven until next year at least. :)

We dumped Ma Bell for VZ in February and couldn't be happier.
 
Coming from a 4 what did you expect? 4s was meant to capture fanboys and those still messing with the 3Gs.
