I am contemplating wall mounting my Airport Extreme because i need some extra desk space. Since i have it connected to quite a few things and the room is in the center of the house, i was wonering if it would affect the signal in the rooms on the other side of the wall i'm mounting it on?

Right now i have it on my desk about 2 feet away from the wall and it broadcasts signals to: 2 linux laptops, my dad's dell, my mac mini, my iPod, my PS3 and my Wii. All these are pretty evenly distributed around the house.

Will wall mounting affect my ability to stream HD video and music to my home theatre system? Will it significantly affect the signal on one side of the house?

Those of you with some experience, please help me :D

THe airport base station is designed to be placed on a table, not wall mounted. If you decide to wall mount it, you may not have as good of a signal throughout your house.
