Wall Mounting Help/Questions

Hi everyone,

Have tried for a while now and spoken to a few people at the stores about the following question.

Can the new 24" iMAC be wall mounted? To be purchased in the next month or so...

If so, how elaborate/difficult is it?

well the stand can't be taken off since you need to take apart the whole machine to do it.

The 24" iMac is VESA compliant and can be wall-mounted with the iMac VESA mount adapter. (instructions)

The 20" iMac is not wall-mountable.

Not the best review, BUT it is a solution.

It works just fine on the 24"

The stand comes off w/o opening the machine, and you replace it with the wall bracket and get a standard VESA mount, 100x100mm I think.

No dice on the 20"
