I usually have 2 iPhones at a given time. I've long had issues whereby passes I've deleted on one device later return after I launch Wallet on the other iPhone. iCloud supports Wallet sync, so I imagine multiple phones is a supported use case even though it's probably not common.

Here's an example: I have a bunch of CVS gift cards in Wallet. After I deplete them, I delete them on my phone. However, the deletions don't sync to my other phone, so when I use that phone, the deleted gift cards sync back and are again on both phones. I have to delete the used cards from both phones in order for them not to reappear.

This has consistently happened over the years and is reproducible. Recently, I was at CVS and the first couple of gift cards I tried to use were empty. They were cards that returned after I deleted them. I've also had it happen with movie tickets.

Does anyone know if this is even supposed to work? Anecdotally, it seems only certain types of passes sync back after being deleted. For example, if I delete my Starbucks card, it does get deleted from both devices. (I think maybe passes that don't have a refresh capability are the ones where deletions don't sync, but I am not certain of that.)
