I used to be able to add pictures to the wallpaper folder that I found by going to the Library folder...Now that I have Lion I can't find that folder. Where did it go?

I would like to know this as well. I use my own folder for wallpapers, but I would like to copy a few of the apple ones that I like into that folder.

They locked it down in Lion. Awesome huh?
It's not in HD/Library/Desktop Pictures?
I know you can't edit them when you find them (locked). Not sure about copying.

That is where they are, yeah. I just had no idea. And yes, you can copy them out of that folder.

They're in that directory as the last poster mentioned.

On the top menu bar, hit GO --> GO TO FOLDER, and type:
/Library/

Then you can open the Desktop Pictures folder from there.
