Wallpaper Glitch?

I like to change up my Mac wallpaper from time to time but something weird happens whenever I mirror my screen through AirPlay to an AppleTV. While mirroring, my wallpaper always reverts back to a seemingly random previously used wallpaper. It's not a problem or anything, but I'm just wondering if that's normal and why it would happen...

I'm using an M3 MBA running Sequoia 15.4.1.
