The screenshot is from the Home Screen of my iPad Pro on 16.1. At the bottom right of the screen just below the dock is an image of the Apple Pencil which I do use. That wallpaper is one of the stock ones for the iPad, it darkens automatically at night. I’ll have to wait now to see if the pencil image remains when it darkens. When I go to Wallpaper settings and select that same image there is no image of the pencil at the bottom. And this is the first time I’ve noticed this. The pencil image may have been there before and I just didn’t notice. Has This always been there and I just haven’t noticed. Anyone else see this?

Just to the right of your dock there appears to be a three leaf clover. 😉 That's real. The Apple Pencil shape is just your perception of a random shape caused by interaction of the dock and the background.

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️Turns out the tip of the pencil is part of the shoreline of the beach scene. If the dock weren’t there it would be obvious. But to my fevered dream it’s an Apple Pencil! I normally don’t look down there so never noticed it. Oh well…🤷‍♂️
