iPod touch Wallpaper Photos

Just bought a new 8 gig touch and assigned a windows folder for photos. Now, I have the photos but the folder that had the Wallpaper photos now has my same personal pics. Don't know what I did wrong. Anyone have a suggestion on how to get the original photos back? Also, I did upgrade to the newest software.
