Wallpaper reverts on restart

Macbook Pro (2020) running Ventura 13.1. I prefer the "Monterey Desktop" dynamic wallpaper, so I select it from the Wallpaper menu in System Settings. But when I restart the computer, the wallpaper reverts back to Ventura Desktop, every time. Any fix for this? (The same thing also happens when I change my profile image under Apple ID – it keeps reverting back to one I don't want.) Thx
