iPod touch wallpaper? Where?

I see there is quite a list of wallpaper to select on the Touch, but where is it displayed? It isn't displayed on the home menu, so where do you see it?

Sorry misunderstood the question. It gets displayed when you press the sleep button after it was on the locked mode or when you receive a call.
