I will try to get Best Buy to price match. I got the 4th gen at BF price. Cannot hurt to try. I cannot see how it wouldn't fly unless they want lots of returns. BTW, they already have a pretty decent amount open box at my local store. Wonder if people found out about the Walmart deal.

At that price, we will see if some folks change over from the mini to the 4th gen. Two price breaks on the 4th gen already? What's up with that?

Agreed. Both times I've seen these deals, I want to bite - yet, I wonder why the breaks on a new Gen. device. Not Apple's typical style.

Maybe the numbers aren't what they wanted in terms of iPad mini vs 4th gen distribution? It's a way of population control in that regard? Haha, who knows.

Pure speculation that the Mini is kicking butt over 4th gen sales. Maybe size and portability is just too tempting. And folks already owning a 3 did not go to a 4 perhaps.

If BB does not PM, I am returning my 4 and buying it elsewhere.

I ordered one online from Apple last week. Will they price match?

As the previous poster mentioned they probably won't price match. Your best bet is to call Apple ASAP and explain that Walmart has a sweet deal. The best you might get is a small discount and a smart cover.

I personally would return it and buy the iPad 4 @ Walmart. That is one helluva deal. ;)

I just purchased an iPhone 5 32gb through Apple at regular price for my wife for Xmas...I had an upgrade available on my Verizon account...

I could return it (Apple is 30 days, no questions asked returns?), Verizon would reset my upgrade and then I could purchase it through Walmart?

Sounds good to me - can anyone confirm that would work?

Sorry,is that inferred somewhere?

I cant imagine target (or best buy, or anywhere really) would pricematch that price AND a $30 itunes card but more power to you if it happens.

Sorry about that guys, i some how read target not walmart. You should be able to price match the price at Bestbuy or Target i think but i doubt you will get the itunes card

Well, the iPhone sales (5 for 127 and 4S for 47) are good to go at a couple of walmarts near me; however, the salesman there claimed that they only have the AT&T 16GB version. I would need a Verizon - talk about ***** on a stick.
