Do you think they will just carry the wifi only model? I am still undecided but leaning towards the 3G more as a just in case when I travel. I like that I am don't even have to activate it and can turn in on and off as needed. But I see them listing the wifi model.

I really want to know if BB will have the wifi's.. I have a 10% off coupon for BB. Thats $69 for the 64gb wifi..

So i guess the real question would be - think they'll let me use a coupon?

Read the small print. Apple computers are generally excluded.

I am in same boat, wi-fi again or go with 3G in case I travel. i don't like the idea of having to get another seperate data plan for it (verizon won't let you use the same plan as your phone).

FYI: Best Buy 10% coupons are not good for apple products. Nice idea though:D:D:D

Xoom provides a good example of suck compared to the iPad?

BestBuy provides example how suck they are instead. I wouldn't even try them next Fri, wait 2-3 month for iPad 2 there.

They had them last year on launch day.

Read the coupon on the back.

It excludes Bose, Apple and so many of other brand products.

Can't you tether with your iPhone on VZW?

For me I am grandfathered in for the unlimited data and I tend to listen to XM at work so I am normally in the 4-5 gig range. I think the tethering would force me to go with a limited plan. I like unlimited.:D

Yes. We'll see. You can't compare the Xoom though. It's not anywhere close to being on the same level as the iPad.

I tether with my droid pretty often, but mine is rooted.

Get an android, root it, and tether for days. Or do the same with an iphone..

It has a higher price tag, so how come? It should be on the higher level. It starts at 799 dollars.

If you do already have an AT&T iPhone- The 4.3 OS coming next Friday will enable hotspot to a WiFi only iPad for $45/mo.for 4GB (phone and ipad data). In that case the WiFi only versions would be fine for travel.
