I have seen the Cingular Internet cards which allow you to connect to the Internet anywhere but they are for Windows only. Is there anything like that for the Mac?
 
Cingular?

Do you necessarily need Cingular? I know the Verizon card works...
And it's not exactly EVERYWHERE, but in most major cities. My friend's card doesn't work ALL the places my cell phone does, but nearly.

You may buy what you want, but IMHO it is an incredibly bad idea to buy hardware in order to access just one ISP.
