iOS wanna get the time in seconds!

hey , sorry for bothering , but i'm kinda new in Xcode , i just have a question , and dont know if it's a silly one .
i wanna know how can i get the difference between 2 dates in seconds .. for example , i have an earlier saved date , each time i run my application , i wanna know the difference in seconds between the earlier saved date and the current date ...

anyone have a clue !!
