I'm feed up with torrent already.

Anyway FTP and LAN file sharing is simple with the Mac. System Prefs>Sharing Pane> Remote Login & Personal File Sharing boxes need to be checked. Then FTP away. Or connect through the Finder via the Go>Connect... option.
