devCalc Pro is a professional calculator app made for developers, programmers, engineers and scientists in mind. On top of the rich functionality it includes long waited features like exciting color screens, and Real Engineering Mode. Now you can change the style of the display by just swiping your finger across the screen.

Whichever color style you like, you can now enjoy one of the key features, such as the Real Engineering Mode. This innovative input and display method makes engineers life easier by automatically scaling the number to a human readable format. This allows you to concentrate on the calculation rather than how to translate that to a calculator friendly format. Try to find this feature on any other calculators - we did not succeed.

Easy to handle, you do not need to be a real engineer, devCalc is your Real Engineer! To enter a number in Real Engineering Format even in decimal mode: Just tap on the Kilo, Mega, Giga, Milli, Micro or Nano buttons. The calculator then automatically scales the calculated numbers and displays it in the way you got used to.

For example 500k * 3 automatically displayed as 1.5M. In the meanwhile the value does not lose it’s high precision, therefore later on you can switch the number back to Kilo to see 1'500k or to traditional decimal by clicking on Kilo again to see all the decimal digits (1'500'000). Try this new and unique feature out and tell us your story how you use Real Engineering Mode.

One of the great examples is to calculate Ohm’s law in electronics: You are looking for a resistor value for 5V and 3mA, so you type: "5 / 3m" and you will see "1.67k" on the screen (aka 1.67 kilo-Ohm). As you can see devCalc Pro automatically up and down scales the numbers to the closest engineering scale.

devCalc is designed from top to bottom developers and engineers in mind. As a hybrid scientific and programmer calculator it gives smooth blend for IT professionals, engineers and scientists as well as university students.

devCalc includes all basic calculations that a good general purpose calculator does, and on top of that it contains much more unique ones that are missed even from the best. This includes but not limited to functions like delta percentage calculation to find the difference between two values in percentage, a quick engineering and scientific number input and seamless conversion in between four number bases without losing the precision of the base number. Feature rich capabilities bring this calculator to the top level, such as full set of bit manipulation, logical, arithmetical and trigonometric functions.

TIP: With the ease of use you can turn the standard calculator to a scientific one by just rotating the iPhone. Pressing the "hex", "bin" or "oct" buttons turns devCalc to the best programmers calculator out there.
