I'm really confused why Apple is only putting out an HDMI adaptor. Belkin has announced a displayport adaptor, but this adaptor doesn't let us power the device...

For us who want 1440P, what options do we have? Is there something i haven't thought of yet? Apple lists the top resolution for their HDMI dongle as 1080P.

With USB C being an industry-standard port, at some point someone will make a nice dongle or dock for it that will provide displayport + charging. Give it time kemosabe.

Yah that's what I figured - starting a new job in two weeks, though, and they're giving me a choice of laptop - I think I'll probably still just get the rMB, though, and if that means i'm without an external display for a while, so be it.
