I used to get 11 hours + of normal use after a recent update I was down to 8 ish. What changed ? Apple activated iCloud and iCloud Photo streaming. And iCloud Back etc.

I disabled all of that which I never use. And I am back up to 11 hours battery life just wanted to share.

iCloud backup only happens automatically when on Wi-Fi and connected to a power source, so that can't affect your battery.

Photo sharing might, though.

I don't pay too much attention to my battery. I charged it when it needs to be charged. Personally, I love the iCloud services. The benefits of the iCloud services out weight the few additional hours of battery in my case. The battery was never an issue for me. I usually use features and newly added features that make my life easier as features were intended for. But, thanks for the tips though.
