I am looking for the exact model of the red car in "fear and lothaing in las vegas"

I have searched on google for hours and can't find anything but a close up shot of the car in the movie. It is a corvette convetible I believe. I challenge you to find it. It isn't anywhere!!!

I know its the red shark, but I didn't think people would get offended if I called it the red car. Thanks for telling me it's a cadillac though. I didn't think it was a corvette, but when I did a google search it had come up in a thread somewhere that he had a corvette in it. My bro. has the DVD but I didn't want to drive 45 minutes away just to find out today (my bro is at work). I am sorry if you were greatly offended by calling it a "Red Car", I am a bit offended you called it a movie though, it is a masterpiece, not just a movie.

The Criterion collection of the movie has some cool stuff on it, for yourself id pick that up.

The Red Shark was NOT a Cadillac. It was a 1970 or 1971 Chevrolet Impala Conv.

The car used in the film was Thompson's car.

Lol actually. The "Red Car" in fear and loathing was a 1971 CHEVROLET impala convertible. Although they did get a Cadillac later on in the movie.
