Hi guys, looking for a replacement to a few apps that I used to use all the time and were very important to me, but no longer work nor do I have hope they will in the future.

I need help finding something that will replace these apps and hopefully will be better job if possible.

I would like to get iteleport to replace remote tap and telekinisis remote desktop viewing and control tasks.

What was the similar app Daring Fireballs John Gruber liked so much, cant seem to find any references to research the app I recall him liking VS iTeleport?

I would also like a app that will allow me to real time down convert and stream video to my mobile devices.

What is my best option to get these points of functionality?

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, i know similar questions are asked but this one is for a replacement of specific apps, so hopefully it is clear i am trying to find the best replacements for this functionality.

Yes researching logmein specifically right now.

Which have the IP addresses and port issues worked out? Hoping for something with no issues with dynamic addresses

I have used the free version of airvideo, but it makes for just another app, and I did not see any advantages over the orb app, other than price.
From orb I can access all my files from other computers, so that was nice, but a lot of issues have come up lately and it does not really fit my needs currently.

Thank you for the recommendation of splashtop, I will look into it.
Do you use a remote app like this? Which do you prefer?

Do any of these apps fulfill all the features specified or must I have dedicated apps for each? Telekinisis did everything, but nothing well, though how can you complain at that price and they were the first to fill the hole on the iPhone, and I have really apresiated that app.

LogMeIn works very well for me with regards to IP addresses and ports. My home computer is behind firewall and router and the address changes occasionally, and LogMeIn has never had trouble connecting to it. It's great for controlling the computer remotely, but not fast enough for streaming video.

SplashTop's advantage is that it's fast enough for streaming video and audio, but I believe (from what I've read - I haven't actually tried it) that it has more of a problem with dynamic IPs and routers.
