okay guys it has to be from Amazon.com coz i like buying stuff through them..

i found this one i guess it works with my G3 Clamshell right?
http://www.amazon.com/80GB-ATA-6-2-...1/ref=sr_1_1/002-1113844-1428824?ie=UTF8&s=pc

i don't want something over 60-70$ thats my max so if you could help me out that would be great!

i also found this Maxtor
http://www.amazon.com/Maxtor-Diamon...8/ref=sr_1_7/002-1113844-1428824?ie=UTF8&s=pc

its much cheaper than the Fujitsu(above) but am not sure if it works or not.

i don't know whats the buffer for when it comes to HD's and also the pin?

Thanks in advance! :apple:

Those will both work, although you can get much better prices from www.pricewatch.com. I'd say as long as it's 5400rpm you're OK. Don't worry about buffer sizes, in laptop drives they're all similar anyway and a different size won't make much performance difference. If you didn't know already, upgrading the hard drive in a clamshell iBook is a massive job. You have to take apart the entire computer. Google for "clamshell ibook hd upgrade"
